Paired Kidney Transplants the way to go?

Apparently, Canada is starting to do what’s called a “paired Kidney Transplant”, where kidneys are “swapped” between family members or friends of other families.
For example, if I need a kidney, and your wife is a match, and you need a kidney transplant, and my (lovely) wife is a match for you, we all just get on with the job at hand, and start swapping kidneys!
This sounds like a great idea, and would certainly bring down the waiting times.
Anybody out there with a blood type O positive wife, girlfriend, mistress, or whatever, and is looking for a kidney transplant from an AB donor, drop me a line and maybe we can work something out! ![]()
